⏱️ Current Wait Times

Assessment: 2-3 weeks

Casting & Measurement: 1 week after assessment

Manufacturing: 4-6 weeks

Fitting & Training: 1-2 weeks

Post-amputation patients and children are prioritised.

Eligibility Criteria

  • South African citizen or permanent resident
  • Medical need confirmed by orthopaedic specialist
  • Referral from hospital or clinic
  • Assessment by prosthetist/orthotist

How to Apply

  1. Specialist referral (orthopaedic surgeon)
  2. Prosthetic/orthotic assessment
  3. Casting and measurement appointment
  4. Device manufacturing (4-6 weeks)
  5. Fitting and rehabilitation sessions

Documents Needed

  • ID document
  • Specialist referral letter
  • Medical records/surgical notes
  • Proof of residence
