⏱️ Current Wait Times
Assessment: 2-3 weeks
Casting & Measurement: 1 week after assessment
Manufacturing: 4-6 weeks
Fitting & Training: 1-2 weeks
Post-amputation patients and children are prioritised.
Eligibility Criteria
- South African citizen or permanent resident
- Medical need confirmed by orthopaedic specialist
- Referral from hospital or clinic
- Assessment by prosthetist/orthotist
How to Apply
- Specialist referral (orthopaedic surgeon)
- Prosthetic/orthotic assessment
- Casting and measurement appointment
- Device manufacturing (4-6 weeks)
- Fitting and rehabilitation sessions
